They didn't leave because they were safe in numbers.

She ran to the kitchen crying because her parents ask about Denton a lot.

I don't think she is related to Mr.Westing because when she said how she thinks he is related to her the author wrote "prattling pretender".

At the party Chris found some clues. He saw 3 limpers, the lady with the shorthand notes, his brother, and Mrs.Wexler.
